Today, lets learn how to shut down the computer you are using without worrying that something is going wrong. For now, we will focus on Windows operating system. There is a pretty good chance that it is the system that you are using if you are in front of a screen attached to a box that makes subtle fan-like noise.

If you look at the lower left hand corner of the screen, there is a button that either says "Start" or looks like a round button with four coloful squares. Believe it or not, you will click "Start" button to finish you computer use. You are right, it would make sense to put a "Finish" button next to "Start" button, but that's the way those things are made. After clicking "Start" button look for words that say "Turn off your computer" or variation of thereof. You think you are done? No, not yet. You still have to click "Turn off" button. Now, please be patient. The screen may stay the same for a few moments. Eventually, the computer will shut down. There is a chance that a window will come on saying that something is still running or not responding. If that happens, click "end now" of variation of the thereof.
